William F. “Bud” Barrow, II currently serves as the administrator and chief executive officer for Beauregard Health System in DeRidder, Louisiana and Doctor’s Hospital at Deer Creek in Leesville, Louisiana. He is also the vice chair for Vizient Southern States.
Mr. Barrow previously worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and Heart Hospital of Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he retired as president and chief executive officer after 11 years.
Prior to that, Mr. Barrow served as chief executive officer at Opelousas General Health System and Desoto Regional Health System in Mansfield, Louisiana, and North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian, Louisiana. He was also executive vice president of Lifewise, Inc., vice president of corporate development for Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, and vice president of corporate development and physician services for Franciscan Health Systems of Cincinnati. Mr. Barrow also served in consultant roles for Deloitte, Haskins and Sells.
Mr. Barrow received his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Richmond and his master’s degree in public (hospital) administration from Brigham Young University.
