Terry Johnson has been with Vizient Southern States, Inc. (formerly VHA Georgia, Inc.) for 37 years. He has held several positions and currently serves as the organization’s chief financial officer. In addition, Mr. Johnson serves as the chief operating officer for Phoenix Health Care Management Services, Inc., where he has executive oversight for the four Phoenix subsidiaries. These include Phoenix Committed Insurance Program, LLC, an employee benefits management company; Georgia ADS, LLC, a medical claims financing and stop-loss management company; Phoenix Workforce Solutions, LLC, a medical staffing company; and HSI Financial Services, LLC, a medical debt and accounts receivable management company. Mr. Johnson is also president of HSI Financial Services, LLC. Furthermore, he is a licensed health and life insurance broker for Phoenix Committed Insurance Program, LLC, and also serves as an executive liaison to numerous Vizient Southern States’ members.
Mr. Johnson started his healthcare career in materials management at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He has dual bachelor degrees in finance and business administration from North Georgia College and University, and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
